Deepen your practice. Get to know yourself. Learn to teach.
After years of guiding students through our immersive 200-hour teacher trainings, we are bringing the Breathe & Flow teacher training online.
This is not simply our in-person training recorded and uploaded to the internet. We are rebuilding the experience specifically for online learning, combining self-paced education, embodied practice, live integration, mentorship, assessment, and real teaching experience into a comprehensive path toward becoming a confident and capable yoga teacher.
But teacher training is also more than learning how to teach yoga.
We understand yoga as a process of remembering who we are. A way of becoming more intimate with ourselves, seeing more clearly, understanding the patterns through which we move through life, and learning to live and act with greater intention.
So while this is a professional teacher training, it is also a journey inward.
And that part cannot be rushed.
Launching in 2027.

THE TRAINING WE WISH WE HAD
We have completed many trainings and certifications over the years, yet we remember finishing some of our earliest yoga teacher trainings and realizing how much we still did not understand about actually teaching.
We knew poses. We knew sequences. We had learned terminology, philosophy, anatomy, and techniques. But connecting those pieces into an intelligent practice, understanding the person in front of us, recognizing patterns, adapting to different bodies, sequencing with intention, communicating clearly, and confidently holding space for a room, required years of continued study and experience.
We eventually had to seek out many different teachers, disciplines, movement systems, anatomical models, contemplative practices, and embodied experiences to begin connecting those pieces.
Our teacher training grew from that journey.
The intention has never been simply to help someone complete 200 hours.
The intention is to help develop a teacher and the human being doing the teaching.

BEFORE WE BEGIN: THE GREAT REMEMBERING
Before learning how to guide someone else, we begin by turning toward ourselves.
This has become an important foundation of our teacher trainings. Yoga, as we understand and practice it, is not primarily about becoming something new. It is a process of remembering; gradually seeing through some of what we have accumulated and becoming more familiar with what remains underneath.
Who are you when you are not performing the roles you have learned to perform? What has shaped the way you move, think, react, work, relate, and make decisions? What matters enough to organize a life around? What are you here to contribute?
These questions lead us into dharma, one of the central threads running through the training. Our study of yoga philosophy, and particularly the Bhagavad Gita, is therefore not approached simply as historical or philosophical information to memorize. We use these teachings as mirrors through which to examine our own lives.
Teacher training can become a meaningful threshold. You arrive intending to learn yoga anatomy, sequencing, philosophy, and teaching methodology, but somewhere along the way you may find yourself examining how you live, what you value, what you are avoiding, and what life is asking of you.
We want the online training to leave room for that process.
There is no benefit in racing through 200 hours simply because the videos are available. Some things can be learned quickly. Other things need to be practiced, questioned, experienced, and allowed to settle.
The training is self-paced.
The transformation is not.
MORE THAN ASANA
Yoga is at the heart of this training, but the way we understand practice is deeply integrated.
We explore the human being through movement, breath, awareness, anatomy, physiology, philosophy, environment, behavior, adaptation, and relationship.
You will study traditional foundations of yoga alongside contemporary approaches to understanding the body and nervous system. Rather than reducing anatomy to memorizing muscles, bones, and joint actions, we explore the body as an interconnected, adaptable system.
Our approach is informed by years of study and practice across yoga, meditation, pranayama, myofascial anatomy, Anatomy Trains, Structural Integration, functional movement, strength and conditioning, locomotion, mobility, nervous-system regulation, and embodied practice.
You will learn individual concepts but more importantly, you will learn to connect them.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPLORE
YOGA, PRACTICE & PHILOSOPHY
INTEGRATED ANATOMY & THE ADAPTABLE BODY
THE BREATHE & FLOW METHOD
SEQUENCING & ADAPTATION
THE ART OF TEACHING
DHARMA, BUSINESS & THE PATH OF THE TEACHER
PRACTICE, FEEDBACK & INTEGRATION

BUILT FOR ONLINE LEARNING
We do not believe the best online education is created by placing a camera in the back of a classroom and uploading hours of lecture footage.
The online Breathe & Flow 200-Hour Teacher Training is being rebuilt specifically for this format.
The material from our immersive trainings is being reorganized into focused lessons and subjects that can be studied in manageable amounts and returned to whenever needed. Larger topics are broken down so that you can understand one idea before moving into the next rather than trying to absorb hours of information at once.
The majority of the curriculum will be self-paced, allowing the training to exist alongside work, family, travel, and the rest of your life. At the same time, we do not want self-paced to mean disconnected. Required live online training will bring students and faculty together for practice, discussion, teaching, feedback, questions, and the parts of teacher education that benefit from actual interaction.
You can move through the educational material at your own pace, but certification requires completing the entire pathway, including its live components, assessments, and teaching practicum.
There is flexibility in how you move through the training.
There is still a standard for graduating from it.
PRACTICE AS PART OF THE PROCESS
Teacher training has always made the most sense to us when study and personal practice happen alongside one another. It is difficult to understand teaching only by learning about yoga; much of what eventually becomes useful as a teacher first has to be experienced in your own body and practice.
Students in the online YTT will therefore receive access to the Breathe & Flow Wolfpack, our online practice platform, and follow a guided practice path alongside the educational curriculum. This gives you somewhere to continually experience the principles you are studying rather than treating practice as another collection of required course hours.
Over the months of the training, the relationship between the two becomes increasingly important. Anatomy changes what you notice while practicing. Philosophy changes the questions you ask. Sequencing changes how you experience a class. Learning to observe others changes how you observe yourself. Teaching exposes what you understand clearly and what still needs more time.
The aim is for study and practice to continually inform one another until the material becomes less like information you have collected and more like something you genuinely understand.

AWAKEN → ORGANIZE → INTEGRATE → SERVE
The online teacher training itself follows a larger progression that reflects how we understand education and practice.
AWAKEN
We begin by turning inward. Awareness, personal practice, yoga, philosophy, meditation, breath, self-inquiry, and the Great Remembering establish the foundation for everything that follows.
Before asking How do I become a yoga teacher?, we spend time with the deeper questions of who am I, what am I practicing, and why?
ORGANIZE
We develop understanding.
Anatomy, physiology, fascia, breath, nervous-system function, movement, environment, adaptation, and the Ready State give us increasingly useful ways of understanding the human being in front of us.
INTEGRATE
We begin connecting what we have learned.
The Breathe & Flow Method, sequencing, observation, adaptation, communication, and practice design help turn individual pieces of knowledge into a coherent way of thinking and teaching.
SERVE
Eventually, the practice moves outward.
Teaching methodology, practice teaching, ethics, dharma, business, content creation, communication, and the practical realities of being a teacher become ways of asking:
How can what I have learned become useful to someone else?
The goal is not to accumulate information.
The goal is to understand and embody it deeply enough that you can serve with it.
FOR FUTURE TEACHERS AND EXISTING ONES
You do not need to already be a yoga teacher to begin.
For many students, this will be their first 200-hour teacher training and the beginning of their path as a teacher.
For others, it may be something different.
You may already have a 200-hour or 500-hour certification and recognize gaps in your previous education. You may want a deeper understanding of anatomy, fascia, sequencing, integrated practice, breath, philosophy, teaching methodology, or the business and realities of actually working as a teacher.
For existing teachers, the training can therefore become a substantial period of continuing education and renewed study, while allowing you to revisit familiar subjects through the Breathe & Flow approach.
And some people enter teacher training without knowing whether they ever want to teach professionally.
That is okay too.
The process of learning to teach can itself become a powerful way of learning to practice, communicate, observe, and know yourself more deeply.

THE END OF ONE CHAPTER
For years, our 200-hour teacher training existed as a 21-day immersive experience.
Students traveled from around the world to live and train with us. We practiced early in the morning, studied throughout the day, ate together, talked between lectures, practiced teaching, asked questions, shared difficult moments, laughed, learned, and lived together for three weeks.
Those trainings have been some of the most meaningful experiences of our lives.
And for the foreseeable future, that chapter has come to an end.
It is bittersweet. Our lives have changed, our family has grown, and our roles and responsibilities have evolved. Continuing to step away from everything else for a 21-day residential teacher training is no longer where we want to place our time and energy.
We are incredibly grateful for every person who chose to spend those weeks with us.
And we also want to be clear about something:
An online teacher training cannot replicate that experience.
Living together for 21 days, often spending 12–14 hours a day practicing, studying, eating, talking, observing, teaching, and simply being around one another, creates a depth of immersion that cannot be reproduced through a screen.
Our in-person graduates experienced something rare, and many of them are now teaching and sharing their practice in communities around the world.
[ MEET OUR GRADUATES & FIND A BREATHE & FLOW TRAINED TEACHER ]
Explore our teacher directory and find graduates teaching around the world.
We are not trying to reproduce those three weeks online.
Instead, we are taking everything those years of teaching taught us and asking a different question:
How good can an online yoga teacher training actually be?
How thoughtfully can it be structured? How deeply can we teach? How much meaningful practice can happen alongside it? How useful can feedback become? How effectively can we combine independent study with genuine human interaction? And most importantly, how prepared can someone become to actually teach?
That is the training we are building now.
Not a replacement for the 21-day immersion, but a new expression of the same commitment to practice, depth, transformation, integration, and teaching well.

200 HOURS IS THE BEGINNING
No 200-hour teacher training, online or in-person, can teach you everything.
It is a foundation.
Becoming a teacher continues through personal practice, study, teaching, mistakes, feedback, mentorship, continuing education, and years spent working with real people.
Our intention is therefore not to convince you that after 200 hours you will know everything.
Our intention is to give you a foundation substantial enough that you know how to begin, the discernment to recognize how much there still is to learn, and a community and practice ecosystem through which you can continue developing long after graduation.
